Lo·ki (Loki) Cardigan - Knitting Pattern
LO·KI cardigan is a low-key, elegant and contemporary cardigan with an oversized fit featuring long, cosy sleeves and body, a high folded or alternatively, a simple high neckline, and optional pockets. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in the round and then steeked. The sleeves are knitted separately and then joined with the body on a long circular needle. The cardigan is then shaped using raglan decreases, and subsequently, the neck is shaped with German short rows while working raglan decreases at the same time. The steek is reinforced and cut, followed by picking up stitches and working the button bands, neckline and pockets.
LO·KI cardigan is designed to accommodate the specific characteristics of unspun Nutiden yarn from Höner och Eir and, just like the sweater version, is a good project for those new to knitting with unspun yarn.
